All our products are sourced locally, fish is purchased from local company PH fish, without your own boat (and a very early alarm call) you won't get fresher than us! Food is cooked to order so make your choice, take a seat in our cafe or looking out to sea from one of the benches in the area, your freshly cooked order will be arriving soon!
Buying locally means we can support our Hastings fishermen and wider community. Our relationship with the local fishermen means we can have confidence that the fish is coming from a sustainable source.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our food. For
us it is a process, starting with sourcing the finest sustainable produce ending with us delivering freshly cooked to you.
To aid us we have a buzzer system in place, you select your table, breathe in the salty air whilst we busily cook your food. When your meal is ready the buzzer will flash & vibrate telling you to head to the collection point. It's as simple as that, fresh piping hot food served everyday. We have built some booth seating areas for added privacy, not only do they look great they also help as a windbreak for those less hardy souls.
What Willy Wonka was to chocolate we are to Gelato! Our little Umpa Lumpas beaver away creating over 25 flavours daily in the peak season, sorry no golden tickets hidden in our products though!!!
We are the home of the famous Flavour burst and flavour blend Ice cream. Basically these are bringing the whippy ice cream out of the dark ages and into the light!
Gorgeous tasting ice cream with either a ripple of sauce all the way round it or the flavour blend which has the sauce blended through the ice cream. Slightly confused? Come and have a try, just like Haribo, kids and grownups love them so!
Who visits the seaside without indulging in freshly made warm donuts? You can find these delightful treats at our Ice Cream Kiosk behind the Golf and at the Food Huts in our Food Court.
Enjoy warm, delicious, sugary donuts that melt in your mouth—truly the perfect reward after a round of mini golf!

Welcome to The Beach Retreat Café
Our Beach Retreat Café lies at the heart of our Food Court, offering a delightful array of treats, such as ice cream, sandwiches, cakes, and much more. Our homemade gelato is crafted and served with love from here. With an abundance of flavors available, you'll be truly spoiled for choice. Additionally, you can also order delicious fish and chips from this location.
The food huts are full of treats; the sweet box is filled with seaside confectionery from creamy fudge to traditional seaside rock, if you love crepes we have these on offer too, with lots of tantalising toppings to pick from gushing with Nutella or maybe drizzled in maple syrup with cream, throw in some bananas to add the healthy element..
Chocolate strawberries, chocolate dipped strawberries or chocolate fondues can also be found at the ice cream kiosk within the food court. It's this simple, strawberries, warm chocolate - you dip them and kids just love them. We do sell pre dipped strawberries, the chocolate is set and chilled. Although there isn't quite the mess or enjoyment of the warm runny version the taste is just as gooooooooood!
Building on the huge popularity of Flavour Burst sold at our Golf Ice cream Kiosk we now sell Flavour Blend in the food court Ices. As the name suggests the flavouring is 'blended' into the ice cream, the whippy changes colour and every lick tastes the same! Even if you do not buy you have to come and see as they look and taste incredible. Add up to 3 flavours, Willy Wonka would be proud of these flavoursome delights!
